LRDP 2022 

The submittal period to respond to this Request for Qualifications is now over. Shortlisted firms will be informed no later than November 9th, 2018 and invited to participate in the interviews scheduled for November 30th, 2018.

The University of California Riverside invites the submission of qualifications from prime consultants to assist in preparing the 2020 Long Range Development Plan (LRDP). The proposed key planning parameters for the 2020 LRDP are to develop a physical planning and land use framework for campus growth to accommodate projected increases in enrollment.

Q. Is there a fee submission requested in submittal?
A. This is a Request for Qualifications ONLY. A fee submission is NOT required, nor should one be submitted.

Q. Please provide RFQ Questionnaire & Submittal Form (Attachment A) referenced on page 11 of the RFQ.
A. This is an erroneous reference and should be ignored.

Q. Has the University conducted a historic resources survey of the campus?
A. A campus-wide historic resources survey was completed in 1989 and updated in 2005. Additionally, several project-specific historic resource surveys have been completed, which are available for reference.

Q. Does the University anticipate that historical resources will be a consideration in the LRDP, and, subsequently, the EIR process?
A. UC Riverside anticipates that a new/updated, comprehensive campus-wide historic resources survey will be conducted as part of the pre-studies for the LRDP, and will be a factor in the subsequent EIR process

Q. Are there instructions for calling in to the webinar?
A. Instructions to the webinar were included on the LRDP webpage for the Request for Qualifications (lrdp.ucr.edu/request.html). In the event that you missed the webinar, a complete video recording of the webinar on October 11 is available on the same webpage.
